Course Overview
In this live online class, you’ll get a thorough review of all of the steps in a typical site remediation case, network with other LSRPs and NJDEP personnel, and earn continuing education credits for your professional licenses. Plus, this course satisfies the prerequisite course requirement for the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) Licensing Exam. Whether you’ve taken the original Case Study class in the past or you’re new to this subject matter, we hope you’ll join us for the “next generation” of this popular course!
Using examples from real-life site remediation cases, this course will teach LSRPs how to approach investigation and remediation activities at contaminated sites in New Jersey. Attendees will learn how site history, geology, topography, future site plans, changing land use, and other regional activities can affect environmental conditions at sites, as well as how to modify their approach to remediation based on these kinds of factors. Incomplete remedial investigations are still the most common technical problem in the Site Remediation Program, so this course will emphasize this crucial issue.
This course is structured to provide an interactive group learning experience. Attendees will work in small teams to solve problems and determine approaches to remediation based on site conditions. In addition, the instructors will utilize polls to engage students during lectures and discussions.

“Everyone was very concise and clear while sharing a ton of information. Course materials are great. Everyone had a good mix of technical and layman’s verbiage and explanations. I’ve been in the industry for 17 years and I still got a lot of great things out of this.”
