Course Overview
When you hear the term “networking” what’s your reaction? Dread? Fear? Avoidance? Networking is a topic that prompts a variety of reactions…most of them not positive. And yet, we frequently hear that networking is one of the keys to a successful career.
Develop an approach to networking that WORKS! In this workshop, you’ll discover how to develop a customized networking plan, activate and cultivate the plan, and even turn networking into an enjoyable activity. Partake in activities that build your networking confidence and learn pro tips learned from leading professionals.
Meet Your Instructor
Patty Reger
Patty Reger is a dynamic facilitator and certified Leadership Coach, guiding clients in achieving goals by unlocking insights to influence change. Passionate about inclusion, Patty has been a leader in DE&I initiatives, challenging organizations to respond to employee feedback and evolving societal events to prioritize an inclusive environment.
Patty earned a B.A. in Sociology, with a concentration in Race and Ethnic Relations, from Ithaca College. She achieved her Certification in Meeting Management, considered the MBA of the Meetings Industry, from Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and served on various global committees before serving on MPI’s International Board of Directors. She is a founding member of the Women’s Sales Leadership Council at Johnson & Johnson Consumer, has been active with Next Up (the Network of Executive Women), and is currently participating in committee-works with WE (Empowering Women to Achieve Wellness).

This online course will be delivered via Zoom. Registrants will receive a link to access the course by 4:00 pm EST on November 6, 2024.
On November 7, 2024, please log into class at 12:50 pm (10 minutes before the start time). The course will start promptly at 1:00 pm EST.
Equipment you will need to access this training:
- A laptop or desktop computer or a tablet or smartphone that can support Zoom
- Cameras are not required, but are recommended for class participation and engagement
- Speakers and microphone are not necessary but highly recommended; a call in option is also available

A unique email address is required for each registrant to register and access our courses.
- If this is your first time registering with us, please provide your own unique email address when registering; do not provide an email address that you share with co-workers.

Cancellations and Substitutions
There are no refunds for this program. If you are unable to attend, you may send another person to attend in your place with no penalty.
