Course Overview
In today’s landscape, the role of diversity and inclusion as fundamental pillars of success is undeniable, making allyship an essential practice in modern workplaces. This workshop is designed for organizations striving to cultivate an environment where each individual is valued and feels empowered to be their authentic self. This training facilitates the development of an understanding, respectful, and acceptive workplace culture, which is vital for both the personal development of employees and the collective success of the organization.
Performance Objectives:
At the end of this session participants will:
- Identify and practice key behaviors that enhance daily inclusion.
- Develop skills in giving and receiving feedback that fosters inclusivity.
- Understand personal thoughts and actions and their impact on positive intent.
- Explore what an inclusive future looks like and started taking steps towards it.
Meet Your Instructor
Saraí Narváez
Saraí Narváez is an experienced learning and development specialist, cultivating talent for over 10 years. She is a skilled creator and leader of multi-disciplinary teams in diverse environments.
Saraí’s focus as a professional training and development expert extends to designing games encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and strategic thinking. Her vision is to provide affordable products that bridge critical engagement gaps and foster positive change for organizations focused on the needs of their clients and communities.
Prior to shifting her focus, she served as a healthcare professional specializing in operations management, strategic planning, and quality improvement. She used process evaluation and workflow redesign to enhance productivity and satisfaction. Her experience includes Director of Integrated Systems of Care at a health insurance provider, Director of Quality and Performance Improvement for primary and urgent care at a hospital system, Administrative Director of a multi-specialty medical group, and Chief of Staff of a community-based organization.
Ms. Narváez received her bachelor’s degree at Cornell University in Industrial and Labor Relations and her Master’s in Public Health degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

This online course will be delivered via Zoom. Registrants will receive a link to access the course by 4:00 pm EDT on July 31, 2024.
On August 1, 2024, please log into class at 12:50 pm (10 minutes before the start time). The course will start promptly at 1:00 pm EDT.
Equipment you will need to access this training:
- A laptop or desktop computer or a tablet or smartphone that can support Zoom
- Cameras are not required, but are recommended for class participation and engagement
- Speakers and microphone are not necessary but highly recommended; a call in option is also available

Cancellations and Substitutions
There are no refunds for this program. If you are unable to attend, you may send another person to attend in your place with no penalty.
