Late Requests for Processing of NJ Training Contact Hour (TCH) Documentation
At the conclusion of all OCPE courses/events (both in-person and online), attendees are emailed a link to a survey that requests the information needed to process documentation of professional credits. Throughout the program, OCPE staff reminds attendees of the importance of fully completing the survey in a timely manner if they require such credits and reminder emails are sent as well. In general, these surveys remain open and available from three to five days after the conclusion of the class, depending on timing with weekends and/or holidays. Once the survey is closed, the credit information is reviewed, summarized and sent to the NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDPEP) for upload into their DataMiner system.
As of January 1, 2025, any requests for TCHs from individuals who did not complete and submit the post class survey within the allotted time will be charged a processing fee of $25. Note. Payment is required before credit requests will be fulfilled.
Please send TCH requests directly to the program coordinator or administrative assistant who handled the course you attended. If you do not know who that person is, you may send your request to our Registration Unit at registration@njaes.rutgers.edu. After your attendance and successful completion of the course has been verified, you will be provided a link to our registration system where you will log in, “register” for late TCH processing and complete the required $25 payment online.
When the payment is confirmed, we will award you the TCH’s for the program(s) requested, forward you written documentation of the credits and include you on the email sent to NJDPE within five (5) business days.
