Course Overview
This full-day class is designed to be both an introduction and refresher course dealing with popular topics involving tree care. Licensed Tree Expert Ted Szczawinski will discuss tree identification, tree selection, tree planting, tree pruning, and hazardous tree identification. He will teach you how these topics relate to one another and aid in your ability to perform all of them. You’ll gain an overview of many skills useful in the fields of arboriculture and horticulture.

Ted Szczawinski, Licensed Tree Expert
Ted Szczawinski is a Licensed Tree Expert and professor of plant science and biology. He will share his knowledge on the topic of tree care best practices in a manner that’s fun, interactive, and easy-to-understand!
