Our media and workplaces are saturated with calls to employ new AI products and services that promise to save us time, improve our workflows, and awaken our creative potential. But where did this technology come from? How does it work? Why is it suddenly everywhere? Can we trust the technology and the companies that own it?

Bill Jamison, Rutgers University
Bill Jamison is a communications consultant and an accomplished public speaker who has been teaching courses through Rutgers University since 2002. He is certified by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as a Crisis Emergency Risk Communications trainer and has decades of experience as a communications specialist with the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH).

This online course will be delivered via Zoom.
Equipment you will need to access this training:
- A computer is required to participate in this class.
- A microphone is required.
- Webcam is recommended but not required.
- Speaker is optional but not required as a call-in option will be available to listen to the presentation.
A week before the start date of the class, you will receive an email with additional details. A reminder email will also be sent the day before the class begins.
