Originally published in the Spring 2010 issue of Rutgers Magazine, “The Sod Sleuths” is an article by Allan Hoffman that describes how Dr. William Meyer and his colleagues at the Rutgers Center for Turfgrass Science, including Dr. Stacy Bonos, have been engaged in a globe-trotting scientific journey to seek environment-friendly grasses. Both Meyer and Bonos are instructors for the Rutgers Professional Golf Turf Management School.
