Course Overview
Combining the Association of Boards of Certification’s (ABC) need-to-know guides with statistics from recent NJDEP exams and a wealth of professional, real-life experience from our presenters, this course will give you the confidence to conquer the licensing exams and challenges in the workplace.
This fully live online course consists of three full days with presentations that focus on areas of concern from recent past exams.
To enhance the learning experience, attendees are encouraged to note any specific questions they may have about exam-related materials and submit them for discussion and/or assistance during several interactive Q&A sessions included in the agenda prior to each session (instructions on this process will be provided to registrants). We strongly encourage all attendees to have microphone access to facilitate asking questions and group interaction throughout the program.

Who Should Attend?
If you have failed a water licensing exam three times (T, W, or VSWS), under the NJDEP licensing regulations, you are required to take a refresher or review class prior to taking the exam again. This course will fulfill that requirement.
This course is also designed for currently licensed individuals who intend to pursue a higher-level certification, as well as operators seeking to refresh their day-to-day operational knowledge.

Meet Your Instructor
William Mitchell, Jr.
William Mitchell, Jr.’s professional experience includes serving as the Utility Engineer for the City of Mount Dora, Florida, over 5 years of experience at CME Associates, and more than 32 years of experience with Trenton Water Works.
He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in both the State of New Jersey and the State of Florida. Additionally, he holds multiple water treatment and distribution licenses, including an NJDEP T-4 license for water treatment, an NJDEP W-4 license for water distribution, a PA A-1 license for water treatment, and a Florida Class B Drinking Water Operator License. Active in the professional community, he serves as the FSAWWA – Water Quality & Resource Committee Co-Chair and is a member of the NJAWWA Education and Professional Development Committee.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from the College of New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.

The most recent offering of the Drinking Water Operator Review Course was approved for 1.8 Rutgers CEUs (18 contact hours) as well as the following credits from professional organizations. We will reapply for similar credits the next time the course runs, but we cannot guarantee credit approval for future offerings.
