Course Overview
Water and wastewater operators often have tasks that include the monitoring of complex water quality parameters, preparation of state forms, and analysis of financial information, just to list a few items that deal with a lot of numbers and sometimes calculations. This class will introduce you to Microsoft Excel and fundamental techniques to help you obtain critical information from the data you have collected and to be able to distill this information so that it may be provided to others.
NOTE: The class will include some exercises for the attendees to work on as a technique is explained. It is therefore essential that all attendees have Microsoft Excel installed on the computer that they are using during the class.
