Kelly Garvey Sachter, LCSW is a trainer and mindfulness teacher, who has over two decades of experience working in and with various social service agencies in NY and NJ, as well as presenting for Fortune 500 companies, and at international forums. Kelly completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Loyola University, Maryland. Kelly earned her Masters degree in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration in Families at the University of Denver.

Ed Weckerly is a successful, high-energy, engaging educator and joins us with more than 25 years of higher education experience. Ed earned a B.S. in Business Administration, Management and Finance from Pierce College and an M.S. in Organizational Development and Leadership from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Ed conducts both his personal and professional life by the adage, “Relationship Before Task”, which makes for a better overall relationship between himself and clients, but always leads to a successful outcome.

Learn to focus on rethinking impasse as a natural potential path to collaborative problem-solving. Participants will explore the different types of impasse they may encounter, and employ best practices and strategies. Armed with the proper skills, mutually acceptable, even amicable, resolutions can be reached.
Meet Your Instructor
Caroline Petrilla
Caroline is a dispute resolution specialist, veteran mediator and longtime educator. During her years of state service, she spearheaded the development of dispute resolution programs, trained thousands of public and private personnel in negotiation and mediation, and chaired the Education subcommittee of the NJ Supreme Court Rules Committee. She taught Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Mediation for over 20 years with Rutgers Law and since 2011 teaches an interactive online Conflict Management course with Rutgers SEBS.

This online course will be delivered via Zoom.
Equipment you will need to access this training:
- A laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone that will support Zoom.
- Cameras are not required, but are strongly recommended for class participation and engagement.
- Speakers and microphone are not necessary but highly recommended; a call in option is also available for audio.
On the day before the class, you will receive an email with the Zoom link for the class.

A unique email address is required for each registrant to register and access our courses.
- If this is your first time registering with us, please provide your own unique email address when registering; do not provide an email address that you share with co-workers.
- If you have previously taken classes with us and have used an email address that you share with your co-workers or supervisor, your account must be updated with a unique email address. There are no refunds for this program. If you are unable to attend, you may send another person to attend in your place with no penalty.
