Employee Training: Building Productive Working Relationships
In this staff training program, trainer Bill Marrone provides strategies for employees who want to develop trust and build effective working relationships with their supervisors. The course provides an opportunity for participants to reflect on themselves and their workplace relationships, as well as how they can manage their behavior in order to create a trusting, effective collaboration with the individual(s) they report to at work. Students will learn about the role of trust and emotional intelligence in facilitating partnerships with their leaders and colleagues. In addition, each student will develop their own action plan for working more collaboratively with their boss, so that they can apply the skills they have learned in class when they are back on the job.
About Bill Marrone, Corporate Trainer and Presenter of Partnering with Your Boss
Bill Marrone, co-founder of Destiny Training Partners, LLC, has over thirty-five years combined experience in organizational and talent development, instructional design, and counseling. Bill has been teaching courses for corporate training client through Rutgers OCPE since 2008. He designs and delivers soft skills education programs for all organizational levels in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, social services, banking, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and food.
Through his role at Destiny Training Partners, LLC, Bill provides supervisory and leadership development programs targeted to develop and enhance the skills and competencies of front-line management teams. Bill also as experience as a Performance Management Specialist with Hackensack University Medical Center, where he provides learning and development programs for both leadership and staff and conducts organizational development activities to address team performance issues.
Bill has prior experience as an instructor in the Rutgers University Writing Program Extension, where he delivered technical writing workshops to professionals in business and industry. He is a member of the Association for Talent Development.
Bill’s educational background includes an Education Specialist degree, a Master’s degree in Adult and Continuing Education, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian, all from Rutgers University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Therapy from Montclair State University and is certified as an InsideOut Coaching presenter and performance management advisor.
