Learn How to Create and Retain a Successful and Inclusive Workforce
Those from underrepresented groups often face unique challenges in moving their careers forward. In this video preview of our “Retaining and Developing Diverse Talent” training program, instructor Carmen Bonilla goes beyond the business case for diversity and focuses on talent development as a process of identifying, developing, and supporting high-potential employees. She highlights potential obstacles to retaining and developing diverse talent, including unconscious bias, as well as strategies to address each of those obstacles. The course also includes an interactive assessment for participants to complete that provides a framework for analyzing their organization’s strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to expand in terms of increasing the promotion of diverse employees. Attendees leave the class with an action plan for applying what they’ve learned in their day-to-day work and bringing the knowledge gained in the training back to their team.
