Learn How to Improve Project Efficiency by Effectively Managing Risk
Try as you may, there is no way to avoid taking risks in business, but one can assess risks before decisions are made. Grounded in the processes and practices of the Project Management InstituteĀ®, this course will teach project managers how to better analyze and minimize risk in order to maximize opportunities and achieve project goals. In this video preview of our “Things Happen! Managing Project Risks” training program, instructor Claudia Campbell-Matland will introduce the concepts covered in the full course, including a review of the project risk management process. This iterative, lifecycle process includes identifying risk sources and triggers, analyzing the impact level and probability of a risk, planning responses, implementing responses, and monitoring throughout the project. She also shares a qualitative risk analysis template that can be used to document the risk management process, as well as best practices and tips for project managers.
