Reactive Coaching Training for Your Organization
Improving employee performance is a key challenge for supervisors and managers in all types of organizations, especially when the employee is not meeting standards or goals. In this course preview video, expert instructor Denise Gatti introduces the concept of reactive coaching and how to successfully navigate the challenge of performance conversations when an employee not meeting standards or fulfilling expectations.
One of the fundamental concepts covered in this course is the definition of feedback as information or perceptions about how an individual’s behavior and job performance compares with a given standard or expectation, in order to influence future behavior. The importance of properly preparing for difficult performance conversations, getting into the right mindset to lead a productive conversation, asking open ended questions, and focusing on natural consequences are also discussed. The full version of this class will give leaders the opportunity to define different types of performance issues, identify common causes of performance issues, and practice reactive coaching conversations through breakout groups, interactive exercises, case studies, and videos.

As a leader in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, she built a strategic plan, facilitated training sessions, established Employee Resource Groups, and coached executives to drive culture change.
Denise holds a Master’s Degree from Drexel University, a Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey, and completed graduate courses in Organizational Development at St. Joseph’s University.
